ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER, In the matter of that certain contract known as Contract
No. L-7930 for WEST MIDWAY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AREA YEAR 1 and RAYLESS-CROMWELL
STORM SEWER, City Project Nos. 76-P-0629 and 76-5-01+60G3A, Acton Construction
Company, Inc. , Contractor, the specified date of completion is August 1, 1976,
and the Contractor did not complete the contract by said date of completion because
time allotted under the contract was not sufficient to complete the work, and it is
hereby
ORDERED, That the City of Saint Paul, through its Mayor, extends the time of comple-
tion to September 10, 1976, provided however, that this Order shall have no force or
effect unless the sureties on the Contractor's bond consent thereto and file such
consent in writing with the Head of the Finance Department of the City of Saint Paul;
and it is
FURTHER ORDERED, That the City of Saint Paul hereby waives all claim for liquidated
damages and that no engineering and inspection costs on this project will be charged
to the Contractor for such extended period.

ADDITIONS:
1. Adjusted four existing sanitary sewer manhole castings
which were below grade when the storm sewer trench was
restored.
Adjust manholes or catch basins 4 each @ $75.00 $300.00
2. Placed 50 cu. yds. of topsoil and seeded in lieu of sod.
Topsoil in place 50 cu. yds. @ $ 6.50 325.00
3. Adjusted water gate valve, which was not included in the
contract.
Adjust gate valves in pavement area 1 each @ $60.00 60.00
4. Furnish and install frame and casting which was found
• to be broken. Cost of casting + 25%.
Casting in place $93.00 + 25% 116.25
5. Furnish 24" R.C. Arch pipe in lieu of 24" round pipe
because of conflict with 12" H.P. gas main
Material increase only 24 lin. ft. @ $ 5.04 = $120.96
+ 15% = 18.14

shown on the plans and showed no conflict with proposed sewer.
