ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER

ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER, that Robert Arnold, an employee of the Department
of Public Salty, Bureau of Police, was injured in a third party
accident on October 31, 1969, while engaged in the performance
of his duties; and
WHEREAS, the City has incurred medical expense in the amount
of $508.00 therefor, and said employee was disabled from work for
a period of time being paid salary in the amount of $194.90, for
which the City may claim credit at the rate of $70.00 per week;
also employee sustained a 10% permanent partial disability to his
back and was paid compensation in the amount of $2,205.00 therefor;
and
WHEREAS, a compromise settlement has been negotiated between
said employee and the other party involved in said accident which
provides for a net settlement to the City in the amount of $750.00;
now, therefore, be it
ORDERED, that the proper City officers are hereby authorized
to accept the sum of $750.00 in full, final and complete settlement
of its claim herein and that said sum is to be allocated as follows:
$56.00 credited to Miscellaneous Revenue of the
General Revenue Fund as reimbursement for Police
Salaries; and
$694.00 credited to Miscellaneous Revenue of the
General Revenue Fund as reimbursement of Workmen' s
Compensation Fund expenses.
