OFFIGE OF THE MAYOR No: —1 6 b�— ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER N O V 7 19 r4 Date: ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER, That the premises at 706 Marshall, being in an extreme state of disrepair and having sustained major fire damage to the ceilings, walls joists and staircases, and the Division of Housing. and Building Code Enforcement having advised the Mayor that the roof is burned through, the windows and doors are broken and that the building is open and accessible to vandals and to children; and further, the Division of Housing and Building Code Enforcement having advised the Mayor that the premises is beyond repair, now, therefore, the Mayor of the City of Saint Paul, pursuant to the powers vested in him by law and charter, hereby declares a state of emergency with regard to 706 Marshall and in order to protect the lives and safety of neighboring residents, particularly children, hereby ORDERS, the proper City officials to immediately proceed with the razing and destruction of the structures identified above and to assess the costs thereof against the land pursuant to state statute and, be it FURTHER ORDERED, that the proper City officials in the Division of Housing and Building Code Enforcement are further directed to contact the record owners of the above premises and advise them of the fore- 0 going action and serve a copy of this Order upon them APPROVED AS FORM Assistant ty Attorney Department Head Date NOV 7 1974 ayor
