OFFICE OF THE MAYOR ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER JUL ` 3 1974 Date: • ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER, Melvin Vogelgesang and John Demaree, employees of the Department of Public Safety, Bureau of Fire Protection, were injured in a third party accident on February 12, 1974, while engaged in the performance of their duties; and WHEREAS, the City has incurred medical expense in the amount of $11. 20 for Melvin Vogelgesang and $119. 30 for John Demaree therefor, and said Melvin Vogelgesang and John Demaree were disabled from work for a period of time being paid salary in the amount of $275. 80 and $102.80 respectively, for which the City may claim credit at the rate of $100.00 per week; and WHEREAS, a compromise settlement has been negotiated between said employees and the other party involved in said accident which provides for a net settlement to the City in the amount of $509.20; now, therefore, be it ORDERED, that the proper City officers are hereby authorized to accept the sum of $509.20 in full, final and complete settlement of its claim herein and that said sum is to be allocated as follows: • $120.00 credited to Miscellaneous Revenue of the General Revenue Fund as reimbursement for Firemen' s Salary; $130. 50 credited to Miscellaneous Revenue of the General Revenue Fund as reimbursement of Workmen' s Compensation Fund expenses; and $258.70 credited to the Suspense Fund as employee ' s share in third-party recovery.
