D946 White - city Clerk CITY O F SAINT PA U L Pink — Finance Dept. Canary— Dept. OFFICE OF THE MAYOR No: ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER WUV 13 1973 Date: ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER, James F. Gillet and James S. Waller, employees of the Department of Public Safety, Bureau of Police, were injured in a third party accident on September 29, 1972, while engaged in the performance of their duties; and WHEREAS, the City has incurred medical expense in the amount of $18.00 for James F. Gillet and $45.00 for James S. Waller and said employees were disabled from work for a period of time being paid salary in the amount of $269. 40 for James F. Gillet and $585.00 for James S. Waller, for which the City may claim credit at the rate of $80.00 per week, and that Squad Car No. 948 was also damaged in said accident to the extent of $1 , 290.04 for which Registered Bill No. 3-6977 was issued; and WHEREAS, a compromise settlement has been negotiated between said employees and the other party involved in said accident, which provides for a net settlement to the City in the amount of $1 , 463.00; now, therefore, be it ORDERED, that the proper City officers are hereby authorized to accept the sum of $1 ,463.00 in full , final and complete • settlement of its claim herein; that said sum is to be allocated as follows: $288.00 credited to Miscellaneous Revenue of the General Revenue Fund as reimbursement for Police Salaries; $63.00 credited to Miscellaneous Revenue of the General Revenue Fund as reimbursement of Workmen' s Compensation Fund expenses; and $1 , 112.00 in. payment of -Registered Bill No. 3y6977.- APPROVED AS TO FOAM I sista t City Attorney 6-;,?
