ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER
ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER, That the Report with Recommendations (copy attached) as
submitted by the Department of Public Works concerning an investigation of acquiring
right-of-way on the north side of SUBURBAN AVENUE at the Burns-Suburban intersection
for the purpose of constructing sidewalk (City Project No. P-0495R) , is hereby approved.
The Department of Finance and Management Services is hereby authorized, in conjunction
with the Depar ment of Public Works, to meet with the owners of the land proposed for
said acquisiti n and to provide said owners with detailed explanations as to the acqui-
sition, pursua t to Resolution, C.F. No. 259491 approved August 21 , 1972. The additional
right-of-way t be acquired is detailed as follows, and is further shown on the attached
copy of the Department of Public Works Street Easement Drawing No. 2217, Drawer 4, dated
May 8, 1973.
Acquire a permanent easement for street and highway purposes on, over, and across
the following described land:
Except part taken for Suburban Avenue, all that part of Tract C,
Regi tered Land Survey No. 276 lying southerly of the following
described line: Commencing at a point on the north right-of-way
line of Suburban Avenue, as per Doc. No. 579616, dated December 21 ,
1972 a distance of 266.20 feet east of the west line of Tract C,
and as measured along said north right-of-way line; thence easterly
a distance of 250. 13 feet, more or less, to the point of intersection
of the north right-of-way line of Suburban Avenue (as per Doc. No.
5092$9, dated April 14, 1967) , and the east line of the WJ of the SW4
of Sec. 35, Township 29 North, Range 22 West, and there terminating.
The Department of Finance and Management Services is further authorized and instructed
to acquire the above described lands as provided by law, and if necessary, to schedule
this matter for a public hearing before the City Council .
