No: Canary— Dept. r OFFICE OF THE MAYOR AUG 2 1973 f Date: ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER, WHEREAS, James Southward, an employee of the Department of Public Safety, Bureau of Police, was injured in a third party accident on November 17, 1972, while engaged in the performance of his duties; and WHEREAS, the City has incurred medical expense in the amount of $46.00, therefor, and said employee was disabled from work for a period of time being paid salary in the amount of $64. 13; and WHEREAS, a compromise settlement has been negotiated between said employee and the other party involved in said accident, which provides for a net settlement to the City in the amount of $73.42 after deductions for proportionate attorney' s fees and cots; nod, therefore, be it ORDERED, that the proper City officers are hereby authorized to accept the sum of $73. 42 in full , final and complete settlement of its claim herein; that of said sum $64. 13 is thereby credited to the Police Salary Fund and $9. 29 to the Workmen' s Compensation Fund. • APPRO AS TO FO Finance Dept. as to Funding: w J/ � Assist City Attorney a n wDepartment Head Oe R Administrate a M ' Ma yor
