OFFICE OF THE MAYOR Date: Rl A"873 ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER, That the Report with Recommendations dated June 15, 1973 (copy attached) , as submitted by the Department of Public Works concerning an in- vestigation of acquiring new street right-of-way for the construction of proposed SUBURBAN AVENUE - Kennard Street to White Bear Avenue, and the proposed FLANDRAU STREET - Suburban Avenue to Hudson Road (Interstate Highway No. 94) , City Project No. P-059111, is hereby approved. The Department of Finance and Management Services is hereby authorized, in conjunction with the Department of Public Works, to hold public inform tional meetings in the affected neighborhood, pursuant to Resolution C.F. 259491 , Opproved August 21 , 1972, for the purpose of explaining the need for acquisition of the additional right-of-way. The Department of Finance and Manage- ment Services is further authorized to schedule this proposed land acquisition for a public hearing before the City Council . The additional right-of-way to be ac- quired is detailed as follows: Acquire permanent easements for street and highway purposes on, over and across the following described lands all situated in that tract of land known as the SE4 of the SE4 of Section 34, Township 29 North, Range 22 West: An 80 foot wide strip of land lying west of White Bear Avenue, north of Burns Avenue, and east of Kennard Street, the center line of which 80 foot wide strip is described as follows: Beginning at the point of intersection of the east line of said Section 34 and a line 350 feet north of and parallel to the south line of said Section 34 (being the westerly extension of existing Suburban Avenue) ; thence west along said parallel line a distance of 860.21 feet; thence southwesterly along a curve to the left, tangent to the last descr.lbed line, having a radius of 300 feet and a central angle of 50 degrees , a distance of 261.79 feet thence southwesterly along a straight line tangent to said curve a dist nce of 137.95 feet; thence southwesterly along a curve to the right, tang nt to the last described line, having a radius of 300 feet and a central angle of 50 degrees, a distance of 261.79 feet (more or less) to a point and there terminating; said point being 30 feet north of the youth line of said Section 34 and 98.36 feet west of the west line of SEk of the SE* of said Section 34) . Also acquire permanent easements for street and highway purposes on , over and across t4at part of the hereinbefore described tract of land, lying west of and immediately adjacent to White Bear Avenue between Burns Avenue and Hudson Road (also known as Interstate Highway No. 94 and Trunk Highway No. 12) and described as follows : Exce t the south 390 feet, the west 60 feet of the east 504.4 feet lying sout , of and immediately adjacent to Hudson Road. Also acq ire temporary easements in the lands necessary for slopes , cuts and fills including right of removal of lateral support from subject lands or remainder thereof, occasioned by excavations thereof or construction of slopes in the g ading, paving and improvement of Burns Avenue, Kennard Street , pro- posed Su iracts urban Avenue and proposed Flandrau Street in the hereinbefore de- scribed of land.
