ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER
ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER,
WHEREAS, Leonard J. Peterson and Bruce F. Brodt, employees
of the Department of Public Safety, Bureau of Police, were
injured in a third party accident on March 27, 1972, while
engaged in the performance of thdr duties; and
WHEREAS, the City has incurred medical expense in the
amount of $25.00 for Leonard J. Peterson and $25.00 for Bruce
F. Brodt therefor, and said employees were disabled from work
for a period of time being paid salary in the amount of $145.88
for Leonard J. Peterson and $101.63 for Bruce F. Brodt, for
which the City may claim credit at the rate of $80.00 per week;
and that City Squad Car No. 808 was also damaged in said accident
to the extent of $458.90 for which Comptroller' s Registered
Bill #3-6832 was issued;
WHEREAS, a compromise settlement has been negotiated between
said employees and the other party involved in said accident,
which provides for a net settlement to the City in the amount
of $756. 41; now, therefore, be it
ORDERED, that the proper City officers are hereby authorized
to accept the sum of $756. 41 in full , final and complete
settlement of its claim herein; that of said sum $80.00 is
thereby credited to the Police Salary Fund; $217. 51 to the
Workmen' s Compensation Fund and $458.90 in payment of Registered
Bill #3-6832.
