ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER Date: Whereas, the City of Saint Paul and the Department of Public Works is in the fifth year of a ten year sewer separation program, and; Whereas, the City and the Department are on schedule with this program and the street, curb and lighting programs that have been integrated with the sewer separation program, and; Whereas, the Department has let contracts in the amount of$109,263,908 towards the sewer separation program and expended approximately$20,760,000 for engineering, and; Whereas, the Department has chosen to celebrate this half point with a reception where the Governor will present the Mayor with an award, and; Whereas, the Department will serve refreshments, have entertainment, and provide lunch for some State and City officials. Now, therefore be it resolved, that the proper City officials are hereby authorized to pay expenses incurred to host this event. Cost not to exceed$5,000.
