WHEREAS, this conference will give two hundred twenty (220) City employees an opportunity to explore, discover, and implement strategies for dealing with change. WHEREAS, the Office of Personnel and Labor Relations - Training and Development Division, is responsible for providing the cost of the following services: - use of building facilities (first floor) for one day at the Earle Brown Continuing Education Center - rental of audio-visual equipment - morning snack, beverages, and one meal for 220 individuals NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Office of Personnel and Labor Relations - Training and Development Division be authorized to reimburse the Earle Brown Continuing Education Center for the above costs incurred, not to exceed Three • Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($3,500.00) which will be paid out of the General Fund, Activity 00157.
