ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER, in the matter of the requirement of the City of
St. Paul that all payments not authorized by a contract or and
_ Purchasing Division must receive mayoral or council app
WHEREAS , the St. Paul Division of Public Health' s Childhood Lead
Poisoning Prevention Program has received a grant from the
Minnesota Department of Health to pay Damage Deposit/First Month
Rent Assistance for individuals that have to vacate their homes
because of problems with lead paint; and
WHEREAS, the Public Health Division has agreed to pay the various
landlords that will provide this assistance to eligible families;
THEREFORE BE IT
ORDERED, that the City of Saint Paul through it' s Mayor approve
payments not to exceed $3 ,000 during the period of July owners
through June 30 , 1991 to the various landlords or property
that participate in this program.

Minnesota Department of Health for Education and Advocacy, Home Assessments and
Safe Houses. Included in the grant is $3,000 for Damage Deposits and shelter payments
