From the established 1990 budget for the St. Paul Police Band the proper City officials
are hereby authorized to remit to the following members for personal services they
perform while serving in the capacity of Conductor, Secretary, Librarian and Custodian.
The following persons shall be named as these officers of the band:
Conductor, shall receive a fee of $40.00 per engagement.

The St. Paul Police Band is an established group that is now being funded. The band will
serve as a public relations function and will play at numerous community concerts and
parades. A conductor, sectretary, librarian and custodian are needed for this unit to
function.
ADVANTAGES IF APPROVED:
The band will be able to function as a public relations unit for the St. Paul Police
Department.
DISADVANTAGES IF APPROVED:
None.
DISADVANTAGES IF NOT APPROVED:
Without the leadership of these four members, the band would be without direction and
accountability.
