WHEREAS, the United Way has offered a donarion of $7,500.00 to the Saint Paul Fire Department in support of the Saint Paul
EMS Academy, and
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Fire Department would like to accept this donarion from the United Way, and
WIIEREAS, the public purpose of the Saint Paui EMS Academy is to give 35 participants that live in Ramsey County the
opportunity to prepaze for careers in fire and/or EMS service, and
NOW THEREFORE, IT BE RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council, on behalf of the citizens of Saint Paul, accept this
donation of $7,500.00 from United Way and extend their sincere appreciation to this organizafion.
