are available for appropriation, funds of $1 I,000,000 in excess of those estimated in the 2010 Capital Improvement
Budget; and
WHEREAS, under the Minnesota Session Laws of 2010 which includes an appropriation to the Metropolitan
Council for Regional Park and Open Space Development grants; a grant has been awarded to the City of Saint Paul
to:
1. In Como Regional Park for the pre-design, design, construct, furnish and equip the renovation of the
gorilla e�ibits at the Como Zoo in the amount of $11,000,000.
WHEREAS, Pazks and Recreation desires to set-up a spending and financing plan for said Metropolitan Council
grant; and,

11 WHEREAS, Pazks and Recreation wil] provide construction management and implementation services for the
12 project as previously listed upon the amendment of the 2010 Capital Improvement Budget; and,
13
14 WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon the recommendation of the
Mayor, and the advice of the Long Range Capital Improvement Committee, that $11,000,000 is available for
appropriation in the 2010 Capital Improvement Budget, and said budget, as hereto fore adopted by Council, are
hereby further amended as follows:
