operate a private parking lot on the south. side of Ford
Parkway between Kenneth and Howell, also described"as the

Laners Highland Park, together with the north 8-feet of vacated
alley adjoining, in accordance with applicantts plans dated
Jeboaryy24, 1956, and subject to compliance w th 'the provisions
of all ordinances governing the operation of ,parking lots, and
to the further condition that sidewalks abutting said premises
be kept clean and free of ice and snow at all times.

Dear Sir:
This is in the matter of the application of Harry Johnson for
permit to establish a private parking lot for an apartment
building located adjacent to the south side of Ford Parkway
between Kenneth and Howell. This property is described as the
west 8' of lot 4, all of lot 5 and lot 6 - block 12 - Lane's
Highland Park, together with the north 8' of vacated alley
accruing to the above-described tract. The zoning is "C"
residence.
The property is presently vacant: it has a frontage of 66' on
Ford Parkway and extends to a depth of 1071 . The property will
be developed for a parking lot with a capacity of 18 cars. The
design of this parking lot meets existing standards. The Zoning
Board finds no objection from the standpoint of adjacent land use
or traffic.
The Zoning Board recommends this permit be granted in accordance
with the applicant's plans filed with the Zoning Board, January,
24, 1956.

Paul including several apartment buildings on the north and
south sides of Ford Parkway at or near Howell and Prior Avenues,
and have under option to purchase Lot 6, Block 12, Lanets High-
land Park of this city and desire to erect a new apartment build-
ing on said Lot 6, which has a frontage of 66 feet on Ford Park-
way; said lot immediately adjoins my property. The City Plan-
ning Board has granted approval to the proposed development,
and request is hereby made for the City Council's informal ap-
proval of this project.
