COLEMAN, Deputy Commissioner a April G., 1956 To the Honorable Mayor and Members of the City Council Gentlemen: This department has previously ac- quired the tax-forfeited lands lying north of Carroll Avenue and west of Oxford Street for development of a playground. In order to expand this site, I recom- mend that application be made to the Commissioner of Taxation for a conveyance of the tax-forfeited lands described as:- Lots 1 through 7 and Lots 9 through 12, in Block 3, G. V. Bacon's Sub- division. The acquisition of these lots, to- gether with a privately owned parcel, will permit development of this playground in the best possible manner.
