2 OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAiTi., MINNESOTA
3 APPOINTING MEMBERS OF THE SAINT PAUL -RAMSEY COUNTY
4 FOOD AND NUTRITION COMMISSION
6 WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul is committed to opportunities to make Saint Paul one of the
7 most sustainable cities in the United States; and
9 WHEREAS, sustainability includes creating a strong local food system with access to safe, healthy,
10 and affordable food for all residents; and

WHEI2EAS, the Saint Paul - Ramsey County Food and Nutrition Commission is a fonun for public
and private stakeholders to assess how local food systems are operating and suggest policies, share
information, and plan for increased production, distribution, and consumption of safe, affordable, and
nutritious foods; and
WHEREAS, Ramsey County has already appointed seven members to the Commission, via
Ramsey County Board of Commissioners resolution number 2010-202, dated June 1, 2010; and
WIIEREAS, there are seven City of Saint Paul appointees to the Commission; and now, therefare,
