C•UNCIL RESO UTION—GENERAL FORM in the matter '' PRESENTED BY , / COMMISSIONS L! di ,A Ilk_ ` ��� _ _ r� DATE "y thlit 11 _NL ' re Cllit[i oPF. ilCt tifQ Wdr�..�,.r..:_ "r� sv�''' WHEREAS, In matter of Comptroller's Contract =MN e>rri for the installation of traffic control signals at vari' i tersections, Kehne Electric Company, Inc., Contractor, the specified date of completion was November 1, 1955, and WHEREAS, The contractor has prosecuted the work diligently, but due to delay in the delivery of materials caused by condi- tions beyond the control of the Contractor, it was not possible. to complete the contract by said date of completion, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the proper City Officials be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute an amendment to said contract extending the time of completion to May 1, 1956, provided, howezer, that this resolution shall have no force or effect unless the sureties on the contractor's bond consent - thereto and file such consent in writing with the City Comp., troller, and be it FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City of St. Paul hereby waives all claim for liquidated damages and that no engineering and inspection costs on this project will be charged by the City on account of such extended period.
