RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee
therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing all labor, materials and services
necessary for and reasonably incidental to the remodeling of building, installation of
plumbing fixtures and installation of sower and water system for the Como Park Lake
Pavilion, St. Paul, Minnesota, to AXEL NEWMAN HEATING & PLUMBING COMPANY, in
accordance with City plans and specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal
Bid #5639 of said Axel Newman Heating & Plumbing Company for the contract price of
$33,582.00, such bid being the lowest and said Mel Newman Heating & Plumbing Company
being a reasonable and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is
directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor, and the proper Cit y
officials hereby are Authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City of
St. Paul'.
