116SOLVBD, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee
therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing all labor, materials and
services necessary or reasonably incidental to the remodeling of building fronts
and the installation of new doors at Fire Station No. 14, Snelling and jshland
Avenues, and Fire Station No. 18, St. Albans and University Avenue, to
M. B. SOUTHER CONSTRUCTION COMPANY in accordance with City plans and specifications
therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid #5585 of said M. K. Souther Construction
Company for the contract price of $13,111.00, such bid being the lowest mooting
City specifications and said M. S. Souther Construction Company being a reasonable
and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw
up the proper form of contract therefor, and the proper. City officials ,hereby_are
authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City of St. Paul.
