"An ordinance regulating the procedure and
prescribing conditions for the vacation of
public grounds, streets, alleys and highways
in the City of Saint Paul, "
approved March 16, 1915, as amended. This is an emer-
gency ordinance rendered necessary for the preservation
of the public peace, health and safety.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That Section 4(0 of Ordinance No. 3394, approved
March 16, 1915, as amended, shall not apply to the hereinafter
described streets and alleys which have been vacated and die
continued as public streets and alleys, viz:
Gertrude Avenue between West Seventh Street Boulevard
or bridge approach and the west line of Davern Avenue.
Leonard Avenue between Fairview Avenue and a line run
from the Southeast corner of Lot 1, Block 6, Whitney's
Rearrangement of Bellevue Addition to a point on the
west line of Davern Avenue 79.82 feet north of the
southeast corner of Lot 30, Block 4 in the same
subdivision.
South Wheeler Street between the line last above
described and the extended south lines of alleys in
Blocks 1 and 2 in the same above described subdivision.
Fairview Avenue between West Seventh Boulevard and a
line drawn from the southwest corner of Lot 15, Block
6, Whitney's Rearrangement of Bellevue Addition to the
northeasterly corner of Lot 27, Franklin Steelets
Subdivision of Lot 2, Section 21, Township 28, Range
23, Ramsey County, Minnesota.
All of the alleys in Blocks 3 and 4 of said Whitney's
Rearrangement of Bellevue Addition.
Section 2. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emer-
gency ordinance rendered necessary for the preservation of the
public peace, health and safety.
Section 3. This ordinance shalh .take effect and be in
force upon its passage, approval and publication.
