M. on the 10th day of April 1956, upon the advisability and necessity of the repair, replacement, remodeling, or wrecking and removal of the four family apartment building on that part of Lot 5, Block 3, east of a line parallel to Cleveland Avenue from a point on St. Anthony Avenue, 100 feet from Cleveland Avenue and west of a line at right angles to St. Anthony Avenue from a point 129.1 feet west of southeasterly corner of said Lot 5, Block 3, Merriam Park, Ramsey County, 'Minnesota, according to the plat thereof recorded in the office of the Register of Deeds of Ramsey County, Minnesota, also described as No. 2041-3 St. Anthony Avenue, because said structure is reported to be dangerous and unsafe to life, limb and adjoining property. Council City of St. Paul Gentlemen: This department has made an inspection of the four family apartment building at 2041-3 St. Anthony Avenue, describ- ed as That part of Lot 5, Block 3, east of a line parallel to Cleveland Avenue from a point on St. Anthony Ave. , 100 feet from Cleveland Ave. and West of a line at right angles to St. Anthony Ave. from a point 129.1 ft. West of S.E.ly corner of said Lot 5, Block 3, Merriam Park, Ramsey County, Minnesota. This building is frame in very poor condition, the first floor joists are dry rotted. Toilet facilities consist of a commode in the basement and a commode in a small closet on the , second floor. There is no bathroom. Electric wiring and fixtures are wrecked and the entire building is in a fil- thy condition. Windows are broken out. It is dangerous to life, limb, and adjoining property. The building is owned by Duo Products Northwest, Inc. , 460 Cleveland Avenue N. , St. Paul 4, Minnesota. We are recommending that this building be wrecked and remov- ed and that condemnation proceedings be started by setting a public hearing date in accordance with Section 107.2 of the Building Code.
