INTERMEDIARY ORDER
In the Matter of regrading, curbing and paving White Bear Avenue from Third Street
to Minnehaha Avenue; paving alley and driveway returns; reconstructing existing curbing
and sidewalks where necessary; constructing sewer, water and gas service connections
from the street mains to the property lines where necessary; constructing drainage
facilities and doing all other work necessary an_d incidental to complete said improvement,
under Preliminary Order 176737 approved February 9, 19566
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is regrade, curb and
pave White Bear Avenue from Third Street to Minnehaha Avenue; pave alley and driveway
returns; reconstruct existing curbing and sidewalks where necessary; construct sewer,
water and gas service connections from the street mains to the property lines where
necessary; construct drainage facilities and do all other work necessary and incidental
to complete said improvement,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 94,662.90
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 19th day of
June , 19 56 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
