Flaherty for a permit to add a stall to existing building located at 17? south Exchange. The property is located on the northwest corner of Eagle and Exchange streets and is described as lots 5, 19, 20 and 21 - block 28 - Rice and Irving's Addition. The . Zoning is Light Industry. No public hearing is necessary. Several changes have been made in this filling station since its original construction primarily in increasing storage capacity of the underground tanks and the provision of a parking lot which requests have been granted by the Council previously. The applicant now proposeds to add another lubrication room thus removing an outside grease rack by providing two lubrication rooms in place otfe one. Curtins 1000 warehouse building is to the west: to the north is the applicant's public parking lot. Other uses in the area are industrial in character. Ample off-street parking will be provided by the applicant. Plans meet existing standards and have been approved by the Traffic Engineer's office, Field investigation discloses no objection from the standpoint of adjacent land use or traffic and the Zoning Board, therefore, recommends this application be granted in accordance with the applicant's plans received in the Zoning office March 6, 1956.
