In the matter of condemning and taking an easement in the land necessary for slopes,
cuts and fills inn tthe grading of Kasota Avenue from Raymond Avenue to the West
City Limits and in the grading of the northerly connection to Eustis Street,
under Preliminary Order 176968 , approved March. 1, 1956 ,

A public hearing having been had upon the above improvement upon due notice, and the Council having
heard all persons, objections and recommendations relative thereto, and having fully considered the same;
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of Saint Paul that the precise nature, extent and kind of im-
provement to be made by the said City is
condemning and taking an easement in the land necessary for slopes,
cuts and fills in the grading of Kasota Avenue from Raymond Avenue to the West
City Limits and in the grading of the northerly connection to Eustis Street,
and the Council hereby orders said improvements to be made.
.• RESOLVED FURTHER, that the following land, lands or easements therein be and the same are
hereby ordered to be taken, appropriated and condemned for the purpose of making said improvements, viz.:
For slopes, cuts and fills in the grading of Kasota Avenue from
r Raymond Avenue to the West City Limits and in the grading of. the northerly connection
to Eustis Street, to the extent shown on the plan on file in the office of the
Commissioner of Public Works.
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Commissioner of Public Works be and is hereby instructed and
- directed to prepare plans and specifications for said improvement, and the proper city officials are hereby
authorized and directed to_�procce�eeppdvvwith the making of said improvement in accordance therewith.

Council, known as Council File No. 176968 approved March 1, 19 56 , relative to
condemning and taking an easement in the land necessary for slopes, cuts and fills
in the grading of EASOTA AVENUE from Raymond Avenue to the West City Limits and in
the grading of the northerly connection to Ileitis Street to the proposed wades on
file in the Department of Public Works,
and having investigated the matters and things referred to therein, hereby reports:
