under Preliminary Order 177088 , approved March 13, 1956
Intermediary Order 177408 , approved April 10, X956 ,
A public hearing having been had upon the above improvement upon due notice, and the Council having
heard all persons, objections and recommendations relative thereto, and having fully considered the same;
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of Saint Paul that the precise nature, extent and kind of im-
provement to be made by the said City is partially opening, widening and extending Shepard
Rod, as proposed to be opened, by condemning and taking the following described lots,
all in the City of St.Paul: Lots 23 and 27, Block 29, Subdivision of Blocks 28 and 29
in Stinson, Brown and Ramsey's Addition to St.Paul.
'- and the Council hereby Orders said improvements to be made.

• RESOLVED FURTHER, that the following land, lands or easements therein be and the same are ;
hereby ordered to be taken, appropriated and condemned for the purpose of making said improvements, viz.:
Lots 23 and 27, Block 29, Subdivision of Blocks 28 and 29, in
Stinson, Brown and Ramsey's Addition to St.Paul.
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Commissioner of Public Works be and is hereby instructed and
directed to prepare plans and specifications for said improvement, and the proper city officials are hereby
authorized and directed to proceed with the making of said improvement in accordance therewith.

The Commissioner of Public Works, having had under consideration the preliminary order of the
Council, known as Council File No.l'88 approved loch 13, 19 56 relative to
Partially opening, widening and extending Shepard Road, as proposed to be opened,
by condemning and taking the following described lots, all in the City of St. Paul:
Lots 23 and 27, Block 29, Subdivision of Blocks 28 and 29 in Stinson, Broom
and Ramsey's Addition to St. Paul.
and having investigated the matters and things referred to therein, hereby reports:
