Resolution of Council Approving Assessment
and Fixing' Time of Hearing Thereon
In the matter of the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for
changing the grade of Rose Avenue from Arkwright Street to Westminster Street to
conform to the grade as shown on the profile on file in the Department of Public Works.
Also grading Rose Avenue from Arkwright Street to Westminster Street to the proposed
change of grade,
under Preliminary Order 166769 , approved January 8, 1954
Intermediary Order X67230 , approved February 16, 1951+
Final Order 167548 , approved March 16, 1954
The assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for and in connection with
the above improvement having been submitted to the Council, and the Council having considered same
and found the said assessment satisfactory, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the said assessment be and the same is hereby in all respects approved.
RESOLVED FURTHER, That a public hearing be had on said assessment on the 23rd
day of May , 19 56 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the Council Chamber of
the Court House and City Hall Building, in the City of St. Paul; that the Commissioner of Finance
give notice of said meetings, as required by the Charter, stating in said notice the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement, the total cost thereof, and the amount assessed against the
lot or lots of the particular owner to whom the notice is directed.
