In the matter of constructing new asphaltic concrete surfacing
on South Robert Street from Concord Street to King Street and from
Sidney Street to Annapolis Street, under the terms of an Agreement
No. 709—P covering extraordinary maintenance on State Trunk Highways,
between the Minnesota Department of Highways and the City of St. Paul.
RESOLVED, That the plans and specifications for the above named
inprovemeat as submitted by the Commissioner of Public Works, be and
the same are hereby approved, and be it further
RESOLVED, That the Purchasing Agent be and he is hereby directed
to advertise for bids on this improvement.

RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee therefor,
and hereby awards contract for furnishing all labor, materials and services necessary
for and reasonably incidental to the wrecking of dwelling, shed and outhouse and the
removal of miscellaneous concrete work, fences and debris and the filling of outhouse
and two (2) cesspools, located at 688 Butternut Avenue, described as southwesterly 33.2
feet of northwesterly 120 feet of Lot 2, Block 2, Stewart Avenue Addition, St. Paul,
Minnesota to JOHN TRCKA, in accordance with City specifications therefor hereto attached
and the Formal Bid #5668 of said John TrckasCity to pay Contractor $240.00, such bid
being the lowest and said John Treks being a reasonable and reliable bidder and the
Corporation Counsel be add hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of contract
therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to execute said contract
on behalf of the City of St. Paul.
