OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK .w COUNCIL RESOLUTION-GENERAL FORM ":r5'13' ` r PRESENTED BY Sever' p _ Mortinson DATF April 6, 1956 COMMMMONE WHEREAS, The Commissioner of Libraries, Auditorium and Museums has reported in accordance with Section 53 of the City Charter, the existence of an emergency during the period from March 4th through March 31st, 1956 which rendered necessary the employment of certain employees of the Department of Libraries, Auditorium and Museums, Bureau of Au ditorium, for more than eight hours per day or forty hours per week in doing the following work: Operate switchboard, ventilating system and electric work, also to supervise .during the many activities held in the building. and WHEREAS, This emergency arose by reason of the following facts and circum- stances: No other trained help available to work during basketball, tournaments, Shrine Circus, Farmers 1!nilon Convention; Ice show and Boat show and other events held in the building. -This time includes Saturdays, Sun- days and holiday. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the proper City Officers are hereby authorized to pay the employees who performed such work in accordance with the provisions of the Councilts Salary Ordinance, Ordinance No. 6446.
