• RESOLVED, That the Council hereb roves the award of the Contract Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract for the Construction of a Sewer on Andrew Street
IIIfrom Sidney Street to Alley, Block 1, Smedley's Addition and Alley, Block 1, Smedley's
Addition from Andrew Street to 65' East of Brown Avenue, to AVOLES CONTRACTING COMPANY
in accordance with City plans and specifications therefor hereto attached and the
Formal Bid #5789 of said Avoles Contracting Company for the contract price of $3434.48
(plus $275.00 Engineering and $69.00 Inspection by City Forces) such bid being the
lowest and said Avoles Contracting Company being the lowest reasonable and reliable
bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper
form of contract therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to
execute said contract in behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
