PAUL Resolution Ratifying Assessment In the matter of the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for grading and surfacing with bituminous material the alley in Block 8, Clarke's Addition and Walton's Rearrangement No. 2, parallel with West Seventh Street; said alley to be graded and surfaced 20 ft. wide from Victoria St. to the east and west alley, and the southerly 16 ft. of the alley parallel with West Seventh Street to be graded and surfaced from the east and west alley to Tuscarora Avenue, under Preliminary Order 170598 , Intermediary Order 1717.51 , Final Order 171422 approved. March 4) A public hearing having been had upon the assessment for the above improvement, and said assessment having been further considered by the Council, and having been considered finally satisfactory, be it therefore RESOLVED, That the said assessment be and the same is hereby in all respects ratified, and the same is hereby ordered to be submitted to the District Court of the County of Ramsey for confirmation. Intermediary Order 171151 , approved December 8, 1954 Final Order 17122 , approved /larch 14., 1955 To the Council of the City of St. Paul: The Commissioner of Finance hereby reports to the Council the following as a statement of the ex- penditures necessarily incurred for and in connection with the making of the above improvement, viz: Cost of construction. $ 3,120.04 Engineering $ 26h1.611 Inspection fees Postal cards. $ 1.20 Publications $ 9.00 _ Court costs for confirmation $_.__._3.00 Total expenditures $ 3/397-88 Said Commissioner further reports that he has assessed and levied the total amount as above ascer- tained, to-wit: the sum of $ 3,397.88 upon each and every lot, part or parcel of land deemed benefited by the said improvement, and in the case of each lot, part or parcel of land in accordance with the benefits conferred thereon; that the said assessment has been completed, and that hereto attached, identified by the signature of the said Commissioner, and made a part hereof, is the said assessment as completed by him, and which is herewith submitted to the Council for such action thereon as may be considered proper.
