CITY CLERK FILE ;_ Fiis g,' .,A 34r , Gentlemen: wry z:F.na This appeal id_ made-under Sec. 20, Par. J, Ordinance 5840, for a change of the building line on north side of Jenks Avenue, from the present building line to sera fast, in respect to Lots 16, 17 & 18, Block 14, Arlington Hills Addition, which differs from the line required by Sec. 16, Par. F. Petitioner is the owner of said lets, now stoned as *Cosaaer►oial District", which are.situated at the northeast corner of Payne and Jenka,Avenues, and, has plans to erect thereon a new bank building measuring 105 feet on Payne Avenue and 80 feet on Jenks Avenue. ;These three lots front on Jenks Avenue, and maybe subject to the street wall']i.ne=previsions of See. 16 of the Building Zone Ordinance. ' A commercial building was erected on the southwest corner of this tract - - *eay years ago before the passage of the ordinance, and was tern down lest year -ice contemplation of the new inprovement. Said building extended to the street lined of both streets. The distance from the new building to the nearest house on Jett Avenue will be are than 200 feet. The other property-owners in this block Wier a, detriment because the torn down building was at sere feet on Jenks AVOW. Present architectural plans, however, provide for a set-back of the new building oa'both Payne and Jenks Avenues. Your favorable consideration of this appeal will be appreciated.
