RESOLVED, That the Purchasing Agent be, and he is hereby authorized,
with the consent of the Mayor and the Comptroller, to issue Purchase
Order to AMERICAN CAST IRON PIPE COMPANY for Two 36" Cast Iron Plugs
for Mechanical Joint Pipe at a cost of $336.34, without advertisement
or competitive bids as an emergency existed where failure to act
promptly would work a hardship to the best interest of the City.
Charge: Water Department Bond Issue 23«B.
