Dear Sir :
Contract Number G-239 was awarded to the Hankee
Heating Company for Removal of Existing Boilers, Facilities,
Piping and Fittings and the Installation of New Boilers,
Facilities and Revision of Piping at Como Park, St. Paul,
Minnesota.
Relative to the gas burner installation under this
contract, the contractor has advised that the gas regulators
specified will not pass sufficient gas for the boilers, and
the contractor has submitted the following quotation to
take care of this matter:
1 #298K61L Fisher Regulator 223.62
2 #99-10 Fisher Regulators 225.24
448.86
Less 3 #730 Regulators specified 166.67
Total Additional Cost $282. 19
It is necessary that this change be made, and the
amount is a reasonable one for the labor and material in-
volved. It is therefore recommended that an extra in the
amount of $282. 19 be authorized to the Hankee Heating Company
to cover the above listed change.
