RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract
Committee therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing all
labor, materials and services necessary for and reasonably incidental
to the planting of trees and shrubs and grading, surfacing and seeding
boulevards for a playground area located on Duluth Street between Lawson
and Case Avenues, St. Paul,. Minnesota, to ELLIN; NURSERY in accordance
with City plans and specifications therefor hereto attached and the
Formal Bid #5761 of said Elling Nursery for the contract price of
$2,988.00, such bid being the only bid and said Elling Nursery being
a reasonable and reliable bidder, and the Corporation Counsel be, and hereby is
directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor, and the proper
City officials hereby are authorized to execute said contract on behalf
of the City of Saint Paul.
