RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering to the City of
St. Paul Water Department Purification Plant, Soo Line Siding, St. Paul, Minnesota,
approximately 450 tons Liquid Chlorine in 16 or 30•ton single unit tank cars,
to MATERIAL SUPPLY CORPORATION at a total contract price of approximately
$36,810.00 f.o.b. point of delivery, in accordance with Water Department
specifications, Formal Bid #5722 of said Material Supply Corporation and General
Terms of Bidder's Contract Attached to bid, said bidder being a reliable and
reasonable one, and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up
the proper form of contract therefor and the proper City officials hereby are
authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City of St. Paul.
