Dear Sir:
Contract Number G-207 was awarded to the Cyclone
Fence Department, American Steel and Wire Division, United
States Steel Corporation for Furnishing and Erection of
Ball Backstops for Four Playgrounds, the Ruth Playgrounds,
Hayden Heights Playgrounds, Kennard Playgrounds, and Hillcrest
Playgrounds, St. Paul, Minnesota.
The completion date for the work under this contract
expires in May, 1956, and due to weather conditions as well
as other conditions beyond the control of the contractor,
he has found it necessary to request an extension of time
for completion of this contract until June 25, 1956, which
we feel is a reasonable request.
It is therefore recommended that a resolution be sub-
mitted to the Council authorizing an extension of time for
completion of contract number G-207 until June 25, 1956.
Very truly yours/
A1/ed H. Schroeder
