RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul hereby approves
and authorizes the acceptance in behalf of the City of Saint Paul by its
Commissioner of Parks, Playgrounds and Public Buildings of the proposal of
the Trustees of Otto Bremer Foundation to donate to the City of Saint Paul
the sum of $50,000.00 of the funds of said Otto Bremer Foundation for use
by said City for purposes connected with its public playgrounds, by the
deposit of said sum of $50,000.00 in behalf of said Otto Bremer Foundation
in a Special Fund in the American National Bank of St. Paul, there to be
maintained and chargeable to the full extent of the same directly and/or ,
for reimbursement by said City for the defrayment of payroll items and
other expenses henceforth to be incurred during the current calendar year,
on account of necessary public playgrounds operational activities under the
supervision of said Commissioner, representative of activities not provided
for by the City's budget for said calendar year or otherwise made payable
from any fund of said City.
RESOLVED FUICHER, that the proper City officers be and hereby are
authorized, in behalf of the City of Saint Paul, to execute and deliver -
any contract between said Trustees of said Otto Bremer Foundation and said
City, which shall be necessary to effect the consummation of said donation
and which shall be approved as to form by the Corporation Counsel.
