The Commissioner of Finance having submitted his report in the above matter as to the amount of
• damages awarded for the taking of the land or easements therein appropriated for the above improvement
and to whom payable; and also having submitted his assessment of benefits to property from the making
of said improvement, therefore be it
y Resolved,That the said assessment of benefits be and the same is hereby approved.
Resolved further, That a public hearing be had before the Council upon said report and for a confirma-
tion of the awards of damages made by the Commissioner of Finance, and also upon the said assessment of
benefits; at the Council Chamber, in the Court House in the City of St. Paul on the R.tb day
of 'eb: , 19 ?6 , at ten,o'clock A. M., and that the Commissioner of Finance

In the matter of the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for
constructing a sewer on Mackubin Street from Nebraska Avenue to Arlington Avenue
under Preliminary Order 16-542 , approved June 23, 1953
Intermediary Order 164891 , approved July 21, 1953
Final Order 165236 approved August 18, 1953
To the Council of the City of St. Paul:
The Commissioner of Finance hereby reports to the Council the following as a statement of the ex-
penditures necessarily incurred for and in connection with the making of the above improvement, viz:
Cost of construction. $ 3,491.90
Engineering $ 279.00
Inspection fees $ -
Postal cards. $ 1.20
Publications $ 9.00 —
Court costs for confirmation $ 3.00
Total expenditures $ 3,853.93
Said Commissioner further reports that he has assessed and levied the total amount as above ascer-
tained, to-wit: the sum of $ 3,853.93 upon each and every lot, part or parcel of land deemed
benefited by the said improvement, and in the case of each lot, part or parcel of land in accordance with
the benefits conferred thereon; that the said assessment has been completed, and that hereto attached,
identified by the signature of the said Commissioner, and made a part hereof, is the said assessment as
completed by him, and which is herewith submitted to the Council for such action thereon as may be
