PAUL COUNCIL NO. 17O81 OFFI E OF THE CITY CLERK Cowncit *To.. 14$064-15y"Norris • NCI % ESOLUTION-GENERAL FORM v4 Resolved.,That,ww PRESENTED BY 411121 !T ine Isereby COMMISSIONS .�r/t�� = , _� DATE # ■Lt.t VI Q1Ibad1Ire , WHEREAS, The Commissioner of Finance has reported, in accordance with Section 53 of the City Charter, the existence of an emergency during the period from February 16, 1956, to February 29, 1956, which rendered necessary the employment of certain en- ployees of the Department of Finance for more than eight hours per day or forty hours per week in doing the following described work: examining lands and buildings proposed to be acquired for school sites, street openings, sewer easements, Capitol Approach, etc., and preparing estimates pf damages to individual properties; checking assessments for local improvements and miscellaneous work; and WHEREAS, This emergency arose by reason of the following facts and circumstances: increased departmental activity caused by Bond Issue Program on top of a previously crowded program; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the proper city officers are hereby authorized to pay the employees who performed such work in accordance with the provisions of the Council's salary ordinance, Ordinance No. 61146.
