RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing
Committee therefor and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering
to the Department of Public Works, Bureau 'of Municipal Equipment, 891 North
Dale Street, St. Paul, Minnesota, One a Lorain Model L508 Diesel•powered
one•yard Crawler Mounted Hoe to H. D. BEMENT EQUIPMENT company in accordance
with City specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid #5537 of
said H. D. Bement Equipment Company at a cost of $33,500.00, less allowance for
One • P & H Trenching Machine, Model 15«36, Year 1927 to be taken in trade $3000.00,
making total amount of contract $30,500.00, such bid being the lowest meeting
City of St. Paul specifications and said H. D. Bement Equipment Company being
a reasonable and reliable bidder, and tht Corporation Counsel be, and hereby
is authorised to draw up the proper form of contract therefor and the proper
City officials are hereby directed to execute said contract on behalf of the
City of St. Paul.
