WHEREAS, For some time past the City of Saint Paul has
rented from the American Society the gymnasium and other parts of
the buildings necessary to operate the gymnasium in the building
owned by said',American Society, at the northwest corner of
Bradley and Patridge Streets, for recreation purposes; and
WHEREAS, The Department of Parks, Playgrounds and Public
Buildings needs to use said building for the same purpose this
year; therefore, be it V
RESOLVED, That the proper city officers be and they aril
hereby authorized to enter into a lease for said premises for the
year. 1956, at a rental of One Hundred Dollars ($100. 00) per month,
payable out of the Playground Fund 19 -A-3, and the Corporation
Counsel is directed to prepare the proper lease therefor.
