HOLLAND, Commissioner ARTHUR F. COLEMAN, Deputy Commissioner 4'® January 18, 1956 Comsr. Bernard T. Holland Dept. Parks, Playgrounds and Public Bldgs. Dear Sir: Contract Number G-7548 was awarded to the Perry A. Swenson Company for the construction of a new refreshment stand north of the picnic pavilion in Como Park, St. Paul, Minnesota. This work has progressed as far as would be in the best interest of the City under present weather conditions. The Contractor has requested an extension of time until March 1, 1956, to complete the contract, thereby avoiding any possibility of damage to the poured concrete which remains to be done. This request is a reasonable one, and it is therefore suggested that a Resolution be introduced into the Council which will authorize this extension of time as requested by the Contractor. Very truly yours Ali ed H. Schroeder ty Architect AHS:al ccts Inspector Ben Storey
