RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award 'of the Purchasing •
Committee therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering
to the Water Department, Hemline & Carroll Avenues, St. Paul, Minnesota, one
1956 Allis»Chalmers Model HD6 Crawler Type Tractor with Dozer, with Extra heavy
duty Track Rollers, to BORCHERT•INGERSOLL, INC. in accordance with City
specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid #5538 of said
Borchert•Ingersoll, Inc. for the contract price of $9745.00, such bid being
thelowest bid meeting specifications and said Borchert•Ingersoll, Inc. being
a reasonable and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be sad hereby
is directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor, and the proper
City 'officials hereby are authorized to execute said contract on behalf of
the City of St. Paul.
