Resolution of Council Approving Assessment
and Fixing Time of Hearing Thereon
In the matter of the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for
curbing north side of Arlington Avenue from Victoria Street to a point 44 ft. east of
the east line of Fisk Street (vacated) and from Grotto Street to a point 100.5 ft.
west of the east line of Lot 6, Block 28, Como; also the east side of Victoria Street
from Arlington Avenue to 102.79 ft. north and the west side of Grotto Street from
Arlington Avenue to the north line of Lot 10, Block 2, Elmhurst Addition,
under Preliminary Order 17016 , approved September 14, 1954
Intermediary Order 170349 , approved September 28, 1954
Final Order 170636 , approved October 27, 1954
The assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for and in connection with
the above improvement having been submitted to the Council, and the Council having considered same
and found the said assessment satisfactory, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the said assessment be and the same is hereby in all respects approved.
RESOLVED FURTHER, That a public hearing be had on said assessment on the 15th
day of February , 19 56 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the Council Chamber of
the Court House and City Hall Building, in the City of St. Paul; that the Commissioner of Finance
give notice of said meetings, as required by the Charter, stating in said notice the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement, the total cost thereof, and the amount assessed against the
lot or lots of the particular owner to whom the notice is directed.
