RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering to the Water Department,
Hemline and Carroll Avenues, St. Paul, Minnesota, Water Dept. Storeyard, Hamline & Carrolls
Ayes., on Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul & Pacific Railway, 25,000 Linear Feet of 3/4" and
15,000 Linear Feet of 1" Type "K" soft seamless Copper Tubing, to CRANE CO. OF MINNESOTA
in accordance with City specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid #5539
of said Crane Co. Of Minnesota at a total contract price of $20,532.50, such bid being
the lowest and said Crane Co. Of Minnesota being the lowest reliable and reasonable
bidder, and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form
of contract therefor and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to execute said
contract on behalf of the City of St. Paul.
