SUBJECT: PROPOSED NEW POLLING PLACE LOCATIONS - ADDENDUM
We have revisited Ward 6 Precinct 2, where a replacement polling place for the
Arlington Recreation Center is needed. We now believe that the best course of
action for this year would be to relocate the polling place to the Arlington Hilis
Lutheran Church, located across the street from the library. The church has a
larger room and better parking facilities than the library.
I have attached the revised information below.
Ward 6 Precinct 2
Current location: Arlington Recreation Center
Proposed new location: Arlington Hills Lutheran Church
Reason: The building is closed for construction. The church has a large,
accessible room near the from door and extensive parking facilities.
Please let Councilmember Bostrom know of our updated recommendation for
this precinct.
