X L i OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK C e UNCIL RESiti UTION—GENERAL FORM PRESENTED BY COMMISSIONE / rti/ — - DATE WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Saint Paul has been informed of the death of Otto W. Rohland, Sr., one of our most elderly civic minded citizens, a man who took up residence in this City in the year 1867 and did through hard work and diligent efforts establish a food retailing business which has lasted to the present day; and WHEREAS, Mr. Rohland, Sr., at all times during his life gave unstintingly of time and effort to the betterment of all civic endeavors to the end that this City might be a better one for all of us to live in; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota, hereby expresses its sympathy in the death of Mr. Rohland and pays public tribute to the memory of this late great senior citizen of ours; and be it FURTHER. RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul hereby expresses its sympathy to the family of Mr. Rohland, Sr.; and be it FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to spread this resolution on the minutes of the Council of the City of Saint Paul and to send to the bereaved family of the deceased an engrossed copy hereof.
