An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 10720, entitled:
"An administrative ordinance relating to the
appointment by City officials of officers and employees
in the Classified Service, fixing the number that may be
appointed, and establishing organization charts for the
various departments of the City government, "
approved December 27, 1955. This is an emergency ordinance rendered
necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That Ordinance 10720, approved December 27, 1955,
be and the same is hereby amended by inserting at the end of the material
in Section 11 the heading "Fair Employment Practices Commission", and
the line "Clerical, 3".
Section 2. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency
ordinance rendered necessary for the preservation of the public peace,
health and safety.
Section 3. This ordinance, after its passage, approval and
publication, shall take effect and be in force from and after January 30, 1956.
